A CHILD is alleged to have been called names in what is thought could be a racial incident in a Herefordshire town.

Police in Leominster are investigating the possibly racially motivated incident after they received a report that a group of older youths in their teens were calling a 10-year-old child names in the town's Sydonia skate park.

Officers are asking anyone who witnessed the incident, which took place at 7pm on May 30, to contact them on 101 quoting incident number 472-S-200620.
