A MAN has been jailed after causing hundreds of pounds worth of damage to furniture at a Herefordshire property.
Callum Jack Barlow, of no fixed address, admitted the offence when he appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster on June 16.
The court heard the 23-year-old had intentionally caused some £800 worth of damage to items including beds, mattresses, furniture and fittings belonging to Stuart Sexton without lawful excuse on June 15.
Magistrates said the offence was serious due to Barlow's previous record of offending.
Barlow was jailed for six weeks and must pay £800 compensation. No costs order or victim surcharge was imposed to allow the compensation payment to take priority.
