ONE person has been taken to hospital following a crash on a Herefordshire main road this morning (June 18).

A fire service spokesperson said crews were called to reports of the single vehicle crash on the A49 at Bridstow at 6.31am this morning.

On arrival, they found one vehicle in a wall. No-one was trapped in the vehicle, and crews from Ross-on-Wye Fire Station made the vehicle safe.

Police and paramedics were also in attendance at the scene, and one casualty was taken to hospital for precautionary checks.
