PEOPLE living in Herefordshire have been left puzzled after they saw a coastguard helicopter circling in the skies above the landlocked county.
Hereford Times Camera Club member Kazzy Anne Lynch was one of several people to question why the helicopter was over Lowe Bullingham, Hereford this morning (Monday).
But a Maritime and Coastguard Agency spokesman said it was en-route to Gloucestershire as part of the training exercise.
He did not give any further details, but camera club member Belinda Olsen said the helicopter had been "over a lot lately".
The helicopter, an Agusta AW189 with the call sign G-MCGS, was reported to circle at least five times above the Redhill area of Hereford.
