FIVE fire crews tackled a blaze at a barn near Ledbury on Friday evening, where 250 tonnes of straw and a piece of farm machinery were "well alight".
Firefighters also monitored two nearby diesel tanks and agricultural chemicals after being called at 5.15pm.
A spokesperson from Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said two crews from Ross-on-Wye, as well as a crew from Ledbury, Leominster and Newent.
"The barn was approximately 30 by 30 metres containing 250 tonnes of straw and one baler was well alight," they added.
"Two part-empty diesel tanks were cooled and around 80 tonnes of agrochemicals were monitored."
The site, between Much Marcle and Kempley, was revisited by fire crews as they reinspected the charred remains of the barn, before the incident was closed shortly after 1pm on Saturday.
It's believed no one was injured in the blaze and no other emergency services were called to the scene
