A HEREFORD charity shop was targeted by burglars overnight as cash was stolen in a break-in.
It's believed the St Michael's Hospice pound shop in Eign Gate was broken into sometime overnight on Thursday (January 9).
Volunteers arrived at 10am on Friday morning to find burglars had cut through iron bars and smashed a window to gain entry.
A spokesperson for the charity said a safe bolted to the floor had been cut free and around £600 in cash was stolen.
Police have been informed and anyone with information should contact police on 101, quoting reference 0170s100120.
