I ALWAYS read the letters page of your newspaper.

Ever since Boris Johnson took the leadership I have not understood the relative lack of letters in support of and defending the position of the Government policy and his stance on Brexit.

At the same time I have noted the high level and frequency of detractors, red, yellow, green and indeterminate.

In response to a letter from Anna Coda, stating that she “could not warm to” Conservative policies, I was moved to take up my metaphorical pen to say that Mr Corbyn’s marxist extremism made my blood run cold.

I honestly thought that you would have gladly published it if only for the sake of a fair balance.

You did not publish, neither did you include it in the current issue, but you did publish four, or possibly five (some of them are so woolly that it is difficult to discern any logic), all of them opposing the Conservatives.

So, Sir, I offer you this opportunity to redeem yourself by publishing this letter.
