FOUR men were injured after the car they were travelling in crashed with a lorry on the A465 at Pontrilas.

A fire and rescue crew from Eywas Harold said the car had gone into the side of an articulated lorry just after 6am this morning.

West Midlands Ambulance Service were already on the scene treating four men, and the crew pulled the car from under the lorry before moving it into a layby and making it safe.

"Two ambulances and a paramedic officer attended the scene," an ambulance service spokesperson said.

"On arrival we discovered four patients from the car, all men, all of whom had managed to get themselves out.

"They were all treated at the scene for minor injuries before being transported to Hereford County Hospital as a precaution.

"The lorry driver, a man, was uninjured in the incident."
