FOR the second year running, crowds who flocked to Shobdon Food and Flying Festival were disappointed when a special flypast from a Lancaster Bomber didn't happen.
The flypast, which was due to take place on Sunday, was cancelled when the rare aircraft was grounded due to a technical issue.

Shobdon Airfield said mechanics were working on getting the problem fixed, but weren't able to in time.
Over the weekend crowds still enjoyed seeing other aircraft in the skies over Shobdon, including a Spitfire, as well as a display by the Jump4Heroes parachute team, cooking demonstrations by top local chefs, and a performance by the Leominster Morris Dancers.
