GET a taste of the vegan lifestyle - including cake and cider - at a special fair at the Shirehall.

And if you do pop along you will also be helping local animal charities.

The Vegan Fair takes place at the Shirehall on Saturday, April 6, from 11am - 3pm.

There will be 25 stalls offering such things as: cakes from Vic’s Vegan Bakes; artisan nut cheeses by Raw Food Rosie’s: information on sustainable lifestyle products from Hereford Eco Products: ethical cosmetics; hot foods; and a bar selling local organic, vegan cider run by the award-winning Seb’s Cider!

The organisers, by Hereford Vegan Events, says it's an ideal opportunity for those curious about a vegan lifestyle.

It is the group’s second event at the Shirehall after last year’s successful Summer Vegan Fair.

“Veganism is growing rapidly and becoming more mainstream, with supermarkets and major chain restaurants offering an increasing range of vegan options."

Entry is £2 per person on the door, free for under 16s/unwaged.
