Hundreds of walkers and their dogs will be descending on Eastnor Castle for the great British dog walk - but one dog in particular will be getting special attention.
This year walkers are being asked to raise sponsorship to help pay the £45,000 needed to train Troy, a cocker spaniel puppy.
He is one of the latest dogs being trained by the Hearing Dogs for Deaf People charity. The dogs alert their deaf owners to life-saving sounds such as smoke and intruder alarms, or the alarm clock.
They also bring lifelong companionship.
The Eastnor walk offers a 3km or 8km route and takes place on April 14 and is one of 17 that takes place across the UK between March and June. It is supported by Specsavers Audiologists.
