A FARM shop was overwhelmed when it organised a nest box painting event.
Launched in 1997, National Nest Box Week aims to encourage people to put up nest boxes in their garden for the conservation of breeding birds and wildlife.
For this year's week, February 14 to 21, Oakchurch Farm Shop at Staunton-on-Wye invited people along to paint their own nest box last weekend at a cost of £5.
“Due to the amazing response we’ve had to put on another workshop," said Tammy Ruck, garden centre manager.
It takes place this Friday (February 22) between 11am and 3pm.
Paint, brushes, the wooden nest box and help and advice is provided and people
take their creations home to hang in their garden.
To book a place for the Friday's workshop call 01981 500125 (option 7).
