The full list of HMV stores to close has been revealed – and the Hereford shop is on the hitlist.
This morning it was announced that Sunrise, which is owned by music mogul Doug Putman, will acquire 100 stores across the UK - securing 1,487 jobs in the process.
The purchase comes after the iconic music and film retailer was put into administration just after Christmas by owner Hilco, who had ran the business since 2013.
But it meant that 27 of the chain's 127 stores would shut - resulting in 455 redundancies.
Now that list has been revealed and the Hereford shop on Commercial Street is among those to shut.
