The Searchers say goodbye to fans at The Courtyard this February with their Farewell Solo Tour.
Originally formed in Liverpool in 1960 as a backing group for Johnny Sandon, The Searchers quickly went on to establish their own distinctive sound and dedicated following. By 1966 the group had a global tour under their belts and continued their success through five decades, seeing multiple members come and go but remaining as popular as ever with their dedicated group of followers.
After 56 years of continuous touring, in 2018 The Searchers announced that in March 2019 they would be retiring to enjoy a well-earned rest. Audiences can catch them at their Farewell Solo Tour at The Courtyard on February 7 when they will be playing a host of songs old and new, including number one hits Sweets For My Sweet, Sugar & Spice and Needles & Pins.
The Searchers will be at The Courtyard on Thursday, February 7 at 7.30pm. To book, call the box office on 01432 340555 or visit courtyard.org.uk.
