BROMESBERROW residents and friends gathered at the local village hall for a “breakfast with the Bishop” event, which saw more than 50 people from the surrounding parishes enjoying bacon buns and beverages.
Rachel Treweek gave an informal talk about her personal journey to becoming the Bishop of Gloucester, the present status of the Church, and hopes for the future.
She gave several amusing anecdotes about her experiences in Lambeth Palace and in the Houses of Parliament.
After a question and answer session Bishop Rachel gave a closing prayer, which focussed on a positive and joyous future for the Church.
