LAURA Lowe, a Hereford fitness instructor has been shortlisted as a Midlands finalist for the FitSteps Community Instructor of Year 2018.
Instructors from all over the country were nominated by their class members, with those with the most nominations making it through to the final shortlist with four instructors per region.
Laura then had to make a video outlining why FitSteps has changed her life.
Laura says "This year's ceremony theme is FitSteps Changed My Life. As part of this campaign, I asked my class members to send their stories as to how FitSteps had changed their lives and it made me quite emotional to read them. For me, FitSteps has not only changed my life, but has saved it on more than one occasion. Initially upon starting instructing I was at a very low ebb in my life but FitSteps brought me more confidence, more friends and rekindled my love of dancing.
"I am so humbled that my class members have nominated me and hugely grateful for anyone who would like to take the time to vote for me."
The ceremony will take place in the Blackpool Tower Ballroom on December 15.
