LOCAL professional photographer Emma Drabble will be presenting images and information to the Herefordshire Photographic Society about the recent publication and exhibition River Voices - Stories from the Wye.
Emma will describe the challenges of shooting on location and will illustrate the difficult processes involved in choosing the final prints and other decisions made in conjunction with the journalist, author and editor Marsha O'Mahony.
Last year Marsha interviewed and collected a vast number of stories and memories from ferry-men and women, boatmen, swimmers, anglers and bailiffs among many others along the river.
This ongoing work is superbly illustrated by Emma's beautiful photographs.
The whole project is supported by Heritage Lottery Players and Herefordshire Lore.
Emma's presentation to Herefordshire Photographic Society, will be on Thursday, November 15, 7.30pm at Bartestree Village Hall on the Ledbury road. Admission £2 to include light refreshments.
