WITHINGTON Crafts and Knitting Group having been busy collecting historic information, photos and artefacts for an exhibition in Withington Church (HR1 3QE).
The World War One...Lest We Forget exhibition will be open from November 3-11, 10am till 4pm. All are welcome to visit, and entrance is free.
There will also be a special First World War evening on Saturday, November 3, at 7pm in the church, with a great talk by Col. Andy Taylor of the Herefordshire Light Infantry Museum, and First World War songs for everyone to join in.
Refreshments will be served in true Withington style! Tickets £10 available from 01432 850074, or on the door.
There will be a Remembrance Day service at the church on Sunday, November 11 at 10.50am, and the exhibition will close at 4pm that day.
