On Saturday, October 13 at 7.30pm, Music in New Radnor will start their new season of music with a concert by Welsh-born guitarist Adam Khan and the tango bandoneon player Julian Rowlands. The Khan-Rowlands duo performs music ranging from the renaissance and baroque to contemporary compositions by English, Welsh and Latin American composers.

Mary Tolhurst, speaking for MiNR says: "We are thrilled to be presenting this duo in New Radnor. They are both masters of their instruments and internationally known. This is a rare opportunity see hear a bandoneon played locally and the marvellous, resonant acoustic of the Community Hall in New Radnor is a perfect setting for this type of music."

Adam Khan is an international touring artist who appears at prestigious concert venues and festivals throughout the world. His orchestral and chamber ensemble playing include the Royal Philharmonic and the Allegri string quartet.

Julian Rowlands (“tango nirvana” – The Guardian) is the UK’s leading exponent of the tango bandoneon, regularly appearing on national television and radio, including the band for Strictly Come Dancing.
