THE brothers behind the Burger Shop in Hereford have been humbled by the response of the community after already hitting their investment target.
On September 2 Edwin and Dorian Kirk launched their crowdfunding campaign asking people to invest in the future of a Rule of Tum, the company which runs The Burger Shop and The Book Shop in Aubrey Street.
In just three days they hit their £200,000 target with just over 100 investors.
They therefore stretched their target to £400,000 and they have already reached over £335,000.
Edwin said they increased it to £400,000 because: "This will not only allow us to completely reimagine our Hereford restaurants but to purchase the properties with extra space to expand."
A Rule of Tum Black Card Bonds are available to buy until October 2. Investments in Black Card Bonds start at £500 and offer a rate of return of up to 7 per cent fixed rate over four years. Investors can also receive a personal ‘Black Card’ which comes with a host of benefits.
Dorian said: "It has been truly humbling to see the community get behind this project and we can't wait to show you what comes next."
