WITH views over the greens of Worcester Cricket ground, the Rotary club of Worcester members met for a packed programme with visitors from India, Newent and Ledbury.
The main focus was to receive Newent Rotarian's Tim Rosser and Richard Taylor's donation of more than 750 pairs of glasses which be packed and sent overseas to where they are desperately needed as part of the "sightsavers" Rotary programme.
If you have unwanted glasses or know of an optician changing their stock of spectacles, please contact your local Rotary club and donate.
You will be providing an opportunity to assist in the improvement of vision to so many that would not have access to spectacles.
Rotary Clubs have been steady supporters of Sightsavers since the 1970s, donating more than £900,000 since 2000.
