DESPITE the weather in the afternoon, New Radnor had a great turnout attending the carnival on August 12, with floats and fancy dress walkers who went around the village, before being judged by Paul and Jane Wilson.
There was also a great turnout for the dog show in all categories. The infamous knockout was a great success, and lots of fun was had despite the pouring rain.
Stalls, ice creams, lovely cakes and tea and the great raffle of big cash prizes all made for a fun day for the community and further afield.
The carnival committee wish to thank everyone who attended and have attended fundraising events throughout the year.
The next event is a rounders tournament on September 16 enter your team at ESCO by September 7.
This will be followed by the quizzes starting on September 21 at the Radnor Village Hall raising funds for next years carnival. All will be made welcome.
