ON Tuesday, June 26 the Herefordshire Federation of Women's Institutes held a fundraising lunch at the Masonic Centre, Kyrle Street which was attended by the celebrated Derbyshire auctioneer and TV personality, Charles Hanson.
He gave an interesting and amusing account of his adventures on the Antiques Road Trip and of his friendship with other experts including local girl, Kate Bliss.
The meal, and the talk was much enjoyed by all and a useful amount of money was made to assist the Hereford WI and its work throughout the county.
