The Ledbury Celebration, the town's annual party, returns next month.

Food and drink stalls and entertainment will be on offer at the day long event on Sunday, July 8.

Over 30 food and drink stalls will showcase local foods, including Hereford's Old Granary Pierogi, BBC Food and Farming Awards 2018 Street Food Finalists.

Comedy poet Rob Barratt will compere entertainment from poets Kurly McGeachie and Nico Reznick and music from the Ludlow Jazz Collective and SassCappella singing group.

Ledbury's arts scene will be represented with performances by the Ledbury Fringe Buskers, 365Dance, a flash mob from Ledbury Youth Theatre Company and Ledbury Amateur Dramatic Society who will explore a Ledbury mystery of 1591 with their 'The Mappa is missing'.

The town's heritage buildings will also be open to visitors, alongside a display of classic cars in St Katherine's car park.

The work of budding artists will be on display at a children's art exhibition at Ledbury Primary School and a 'Box of Delights' garden competition for young people, run by Ledbury in Bloom, will take place in the Walled Garden.

The food and drink market will open at 11am with the entertainment beginning at noon.

The day is organised thanks to the efforts of Ledbury Food Group, Ledbury Poetry Festival, Ledbury Town Council, Joined Up Heritage and the Ledbury Fringe.

Ledbury high street will be closed from 8am on the day of the event.

All car parks will be open and parking will also be available at John Masefield High School and Ledbury Primary School.
