KALLIDA Festival 2018
22nd - 24th June
Baskerville Hall, Clyro Court, Clyro, Hay on Wye, Hereford HR3 5LE
After an unforgettable first edition, we’re pleased to announce that KALLIDA will be returning to Baskerville Hall from June 22 to 24.
This time however, the festival is giving guests a whole extra day to explore the mansion, absorb the art and istallations and of course dance to a line-up of musicians from across the spectrum.
KALLIDA is an extremely intimate event, and tickets are limited to just 600 - but that doesn’t mean any skimping on the
production. Every inch of the beautiful country house is decked out with heavyweight sound systems, sculpture, light shows and films, as well as a restaurant and pub to chill in.
Spend your daytimes on the lawn enjoying music from our favourite acts from the worlds of afrobeat, hip hop and dub, before moving into the mansion at night to rave until the morning to some of the best DJs in underground music.
Among the line-up is dnb legend Rockwell, who moves through all the sub genres of the sound effortlessly, but doesn’t stop there , with Detroit techno, booty bass and footwork all informing parts of his unique sound.
Also joining KALLIDA will be also be joined by all-round legend Moxie, who lives and breathes dance music, running the night and label On Loop, putting out fantastic records including the must listen, genre spanning Moxie Presents
compilations and throwing first rate parties across the UK and Europe.
There will also be a showcase from global dance music promoters Wormfood, with Afriquoi, The Busy Twist and KOG all bringing
their own unique takes on global dance sounds in a nighttime session that promises to be one to remember.
Night Slugs founder L-Vis 1990 will be heading to Baskerville, and there'll be live afrobeat from Kokoroko and Kon Tiki , jungle and hardcore originator Nookie , soulful r’n’b from Nilüfer Yanya and Jazzi Bobbi , dancehall heroes Hipsters Don’t Dance, Lil C , Clarks and Sacha Kella, a session with Sheffield’s Bad Taste Records featuring Rawkid and Lean Low, Rye Wax head honcho Tom Unlikely , EBM and coldwave from Proteus , footwork mutations from Itoa, disco digger Stevie T and Off Me Nut junglist Smiley Maxx. They’ll be joining first release artists Daniel Avery, Channel One, Teki Latex, Children of Zeus, Henge and many
many more.
