A WOMAN was taken to hospital after being rescued from a muddy hillside path near Goodrich.
Ambulance staff and firefighters worked together during the rescue operation yesterday at around 3pm.
Fire crews from Ross-on-Wye, Whitchurch, Hereford and Gloucester attended to a woman who had fallen and had a suspected fractured limb.
Paramedics stabilised the fracture with a splint and provided pain relief before the patient was put on a stretcher from the West Midlands Ambulance Service's Hazardous Area Response Team.
The woman was taken to hospital for further treatment.
