DIFFERENT generations have been learning the lessons of life together while making new friendships.
There may be an age gap of more than 90 years, but the pre-school children at Lollipops Nursery, Hereford, made the short trip to Credenhill Court rest home to meet the residents.
The youngsters have now been three times and have enjoyed play and craft sessions with their new mates.
Cakes have been baked and banners have been made to support the British athletes in the Winter Olympics.
Rose Sales, activities director at Credenhill, said the relationship has been wonderful for both generations and will enrich the lives of both the children and the residents.
“Our residents also enjoy attending the playing together workshops at The Courtyard, Hereford.
“But having the children from Lollipops come to the home is wonderful as all the residents can get involved in the activities.”
