POLICE are questioning two people found lamping at a farm in Hereford in the early hours of the morning.
West Mercia's Rural Crime Team praised local gamekeepers for their "great work" in tackling the pair.
A vehicle, rabbit, lamps and a dog were seized, and the two suspects are being interviewed about night-time poaching offences.
Police have not revealed exactly where the lamping took place.
Lamping is the practice of hunting nocturnal animals using high-powered spotlights. It sometimes entails the use of four-wheel drive vehicles.
Some animals, such as rabbits, hares and foxes, are transfixed when they see a bright light at night and can be approached on foot to improve the chance of a successful killing, usually by rifle.
Lamping in some circumstances is not illegal, but the landowner's permission is required.
