A man has been rescued from the river Wye near Symonds Yat Caravan Park
A MAN has been taken to hospital after being rescued from the River Wye.
Emergency services launched a rescue operation after receiving a report that a man had fallen into the river near Symonds Yat Caravan Park just after 8pm last night.
The man, 31, was found safe near to the river bank at around 1am this morning (Friday).
He was taken to hospital where his injuries are not thought to be serious.
