FIVE luxury homes will be built on the site of a former spa near Ross-on-Wye.

Planning permission has been given for five 'Grand Design' style homes at Leys Hill.

William Matthews, from Bruton Knowles' Gloucester office, said: "The five highly contemporary homes planned here are five times the size of a normal house and offer approximately five and half thousand square feet of space, each of which is on a three-quarter of an acre plot overlooking the River Wye.

“It’s difficult to think of a residential opportunity in this class anywhere in the region and we are expecting good interest from boutique developers.”

They are now looking for innovative developers to carry out the scheme.
