HEREFORDIANS are a proud bunch and we’re used to hearing praise for our bucolic landscapes, fresh produce and rich farming heritage.
One thing we’re not quite so familiar with, however, is hearing praise for our accents. But according to lovinmanchester.com, Hereford has the 10th ‘sexiest’ accent out of all 51 English cities.
Described as ‘quintessentially British’ by the website, we’re left to wonder whether we might’ve been confused, once again, with Hertfordshire as few would describe our West county-meets-Wales twang in that way.
Manchester made the top spot while neighbouring Gloucester took fourth.
