LEDBURY pulled out all the stops to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the iconic Market House and Ledbury Poetry Festival’s 21st birthday last weekend.
The Community Brass Band got the party going in perfect style and the pace did not drop until beat box specialist Dave Crowe finished proceedings in his inimitable style.
In between, the High Street was filled with 30 producers bringing their varied goods to market.
Further entertainment came courtesy of Samba Galêz, Dancefest, and the music groups, The Sequins and Flatworld.
Elaine Fieldhouse, Mayor of Ledbury: “This was a truly wonderful day of music, poetry, food, dancing, art, heritage and fun.
And Phillippa Slinger of Ledbury Poetry Festival, added: “It was a truly outstanding community day that brought so many people together in so many different ways.”
