PRESIDENT Roger Lloyd and members of St Ethelbert Probus visited Queenswood to see their tulip tree (Liriodendron Tulipifera) planted in 1961 and adopted in memory of one of their members Michael Morris.

The club meets every Tuesday at the Cider Museum between 9.30am and 11.30am for coffee, followed by a varied and entertaining programme of speakers who are booked for forthcoming meetings;

June 27, David Skillen - The Bentley Boys - The Playboy Racers.

August 8, Eileen Dilley - Social History of Afternoon Tea.

September 12, David Withey - Work is a four-letter word.

St Ethelbert Club has a range of members, with ages from 60s to 90s, representing all aspects of professional and business careers (Probus). There are a few vacancies at the moment so why not go along, see what happens and receive a very friendly welcome?
