Tonight, June 22, sees a fundraising night of acoustic music at The Crown at Dilwyn.
Presented by The Friends of the Crown, who recently purchased the pub to prevent its closure the show starts at 8.30pm.
Singer/songwriter Valeryan, former lead vocalist with The Settlers of The Lightning Tree hit single fame way back when, solo international cabaret artist in the late 70s and 80s and recording artist is joined by Mice in a Matchbox, Autistry, and Dan Nichol .
Transatlantic sailors who sing, Mice in a Matchbox have recently returned from entertaining round the Caribbean Islands and are sure to charm with their often reggae influenced music. Gracie and Gelan Swift are Autistry: Gracie's haunting voice perfectly showcases Gelan's catchy original songs, while Dan Nichol blends folk and American songbook traditions.
Entry is free with donations welcome during the evening.
