THREE girls were injured after being in collision with a car as they crossed a road in Hereford last Saturday afternoon.
The accident happened outside the Tesco supermarket in Abbotsmead Road in the Belmont area around 2.55pm and two ambulances were sent to the scene.
Paramedic Alan Lane said: "The three girls, two aged 11 and one aged 14 were lucky to have only had a glancing blow from the car.
"One of the 11 year-olds and the 14 year-old suffered leg injuries and were taken to Hereford County Hospital for further assessment and treatment."
The third girl suffered minor injuries but did not need to go to hospital and the woman driver was uninjured.
