BURGHILL Community Academy pupils planned and held a fashion show for Birmingham Children's Hospital at the end of the spring term.
And on May 9 they were delighted to hand over a donation for £786.48 to the hospital's charity representative Annie Eytle.
Pupils planned the fashion as part of their learning skills project and were very focused on raising as much money as they could because their fellow pupil Jasmine Bamber spent several months on Ward 10 of the hospital after a serious car accident where sadly her mother was killed.
Staff are very proud of how pupils organised the fashion show and were overwhelmed by the total raised through the generous support of parents and friends of the school.
