THE tale of two kittens rescued from floods has come to a happy ending.
Former Hereford Times photographer Betty Harris had planned to take just one of the kittens, but when she found the other no longer had a home lined up, she decided to have both.
She said: "I just thought it would be a good idea because my old cat died aged 21 last month, and I only have one other - a stray who is not friendly!
"It has turned out pretty well because when I picked them up the lady said she was happy they were going to the same home as they were devoted to each other."
