FOLLOWING the completion and dedication of the new Thomas Traherne stained glass windows at Hereford Cathedral a new publication of meditations has been launched by author Dr Gordon Leah.
The windows were designed and created by international stained glass artist Tom Denny in March to celebrate the life and work of one of Hereford's greatest loved literary figures, the poet and cleric Thomas Traherne.
Dr Leah is a retired languages teacher and Methodist lay preacher from Worcester and has previously written a set of millennium windows for Malvern Priory. He is inspired by the connection between art and literature and matters of faith, and sees the new Traherne windows as a wonderful example of contemporary religious art.
Reflections of Glory' were written on the invitation of the Dean of Hereford and are available in Cathedral Shop priced £2.50. The stained glass windows can be seen daily in the Audley Chapel in the Lady Chapel of Hereford Cathedral.
