HEREFORD has been named as the UK's second slowest city with vehicles averaging speeds of 14.09mph.
The figure comes from research complied by SATRAK Vehicle Tracking on the UK's slowest motorways and slowest cities.
Hereford was only faster than Cambridge which has average speeds of 13.73mph and was even slower than the London's capital which was third in the list with speeds of 14.59mph.
The fastest average speeds in cities were found to be in Carlisle (44.7 mph), Preston (39.8mph), and Winchester (39 mph).
Data was taken from more than 3,345,025 vehicles that had been analysed using SATRAK tracking software from January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2016.
M25 was found to be slowest motorway with vehicles averaging 25.05 mph.
