THOSE who enjoy experiencing a different culture but have a limited budget will have the chance to visit the second largest country in Europe – at least in spirit anyway – when an event is held in Hereford this month.
A Ukranian style party will take place at De Koffee Pot, part of the Left Bank village, on Saturday, February 18 and will feature live Ukrainian music and dance with the band Slippery Slope.
There will also be a chance to experience Ukranian hospitality, learn Ukrainian dance and browse unique handmade crafts as well as a Ukrainian-inspired menu.
It will also be an opportunity to find out more about Experience Ukraine – a Hereford-based travel company specialising in sustainable group tours to the country.
The event, which starts at 7pm, will raise money for a Ukrainian youth theatre project in Nyzhnie Selyshche, with tickets available at a cost of £6 per person.
Tickets can be bought by calling Nataliya on 07963090838, emailing nataliya.cummings@gmail.com or visiting online at herefordshireweddingvenue.com/event/the-ukranian-party/
