THE Summer Show at Hereford College of Art and Design featured a wide range of work in every medium imaginable.

Among students with work exhibited in the show were Amy Pegler, who has completed a National Diploma in art and design, specialising in surface design. Amy has secured a place at the London College of Communication, where she will be studying for a BA in surface design.

Megan Holland, another National Diploma student, specialises in textiles and will be going on to Somerset College of Arts and Technology to work for a BA in textiles and interior design.

Georgina Fowler, too, has completed her national diploma course, specialising in ceramics, and will be staying in Hereford to work towards her BA Honours degree in contemporary applied arts.

Also staying in Hereford is Mike Powell, who, having completed the national diploma course, will be doing a BA Honours course in illustration at the college.

Grug Jones, who has finished a BA Hon-ours degree course in contemporary applied arts, is already exhibiting and submitting her work in national competitions, including Pewter Live, in which she was a prize winner last year. Grug plans to set up as a designer/maker of decorative pewter vessels.
