THE Midsummer Fayre and Music Festival on the Castle Green is is expected to bring out an even bigger crowd than last year's event at the riverside park.

The theme for this year is County Customs, with dancing by Leominster Morris Men and displays by spinners and weavers.

Local children will not want to miss the Sealegs Puppet Theatre presentation by puppeteer Rob Ashman on the main stage at 2pm, or the many other attractions catering for youngsters.

But the highlight is undoubtedly the non-stop live music from noon, covering just about every taste imaginable.

Main stage line-up: 12.30pm St James School; 1pm Leominster Morris Men; 2pm Sealegs Puppet Theatre; 3pm Hereford Big Band; 4pm Bandemonium, 5pm John Perkins; 5.45pm Joe Hughes, 6.30pm Sean Saye; 7.15pm The Alienz; 8.15pm Blue Coma.
