A YOUNG man who had been suffering from mental health issues took his own life, an inquest heard.
Andrew McCormack, 25, was found dead at his home address, on Etnam Street, Leominster, on August 23 last year.
The inquest at Hereford Town Hall heard Mr McCormack had been receiving support from the 2gether NHS Foundation Trust's, his most recent appointment having taken place with Dr Ranganath in Leominster on August 18.
On that date, Mr McCormack was prescribed an anti-depressant drug. The inquest heard he had recently moved to Leominster, from Ledbury, and had been finding the move difficult as he did not have friends and family in the town.
Coroner for Herefordshire, Mark Bricknell, said the medical cause of death was asphyxia. He recorded a conclusion of suicide.
