A £200 reward has been offered for information leading to the arrest of the person who shot a swan 21 times to the head.
Police are still investigating the incident which took place on November 30, at Monks Pond between Glasbury and Painscastle, in Hay-on-Wye.
Police believe that a pellet gun was used to injure the animal which was put down due to the extent of its injuries.
Two local people have offered to pay £100 each as a reward for information leading to a conviction.
