A WOMAN described as having a 'vibrant personality' by friends and family has celebrated turning 100.
Gwenllian Hewett, who lives at Coldwells House in Holmer, celebrated the milestone on Monday, November 21.
She was joined by staff and residents at the home for a birthday celebration, and was entertained by a female Welsh soloist while a second party was held with 'all the trimmings'.
Gwen's family say her personality, love of singing and dancing amazes all her friends and relatives.
They travelled from far and near to help her mark her birthday, with the party including grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Family members added that Gwen is an 'inspiration' to everyone that knows her and that a royal greeting from the Queen was also very appreciated.
