Year 7 students at John Kyrle High School have collected hundreds of teddy bears to give to children less fortunate than themselves.
The teddies were collected on behalf of the Teddy Trust who distribute the teddies to children who live in places such as Syria and Malawi as well as to children from the Yazidi community who are in refugee camps in Kurdistan.
Head of Year 7, Hayley Knapper said that she was delighted at how the students had really taken the opportunity to help other young people who are living in very difficult circumstances.
