THE Bowls Herefordshire ladies held a charity day at Weobley Bowling Club to raise money for St Michaels Hospice and the West Midlands Air Ambulance. Through bowling, produce sales and an excellent raffle, all donated, the women raised £730.
At Burgh Hill Golf Club the women, led by Jill Bowen, BH administrator and county secretary and organiser of the charity day, met with Paddy Nugent, St Michael's Hospice community fundraising manager, to hand over a cheque for the hospice.
Treasurer, Pat Farmer, will also be undertaking the Hospice Moon Walk.
