A CHEF who competed on the The Great British Menu TV show has joined a Hereford restaurant.
Andy Beaumont, who starred in the 2014 show, will replace Masterchef finalist Josh Donachie at Cellar Door in Widesmarsh Street.
Josh was head chef at the restaurant when it opened its doors in April but has now moved on to pastures new.
Andy, who was brought up on a farm near Abergavenny, achieved two rosettes at the age of 22 in his first head chef role.
Lauren Waring, who manages Cellar Door, said: "We obviously wish Josh all the best in whatever he chooses to do next. We are looking forward to the new head starting."
Cellar Door is a bistro café in the daytime, offering breakfast and lunch and is a restaurant and bar in the evening.
