AN 18-YEAR-old woman was airlifted to hospital with two suspected broken legs following a crash on the A4110, an ambulance spokesman said.
It was initially thought there were no serious injuries but the ambulance service revealed today that a woman was airlifted to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
Three ambulances, two air ambulances and a paramedic area support officer were called to a two car collision near Wigmore on Saturday at around 2.40pm.
It is reported that there was a man, woman and a child in one car and a female in the other car.
An ambulance spokesman said a 22-year-old male with some abdominal pain had briefly lost consciousness and was taken to Hereford County Hospital.
Two others are believed to have been taken to Hereford hospital as a precautionary measure.
The cars caught alight and fire crews from Kingsland and Leintwardine attended to put out the flames.
