DARTH Vader and a host of Stormtroopers have helped raise funds for a poorly Herefordshire teenager.
Emily and Rob Beavan decided to hold the Star Wars-themed party for the 20th wedding anniversary in light of Mr Beavan's love of the legendary film series.
Funds raised during the party will go towards Caitlin Ronan, a 16-year-old from Ledbury, who has a progressive neurological disease meaning she cannot use her arms and legs.
Mrs Beavan, who lives in Hereford, is one of Caitlin's main carers.
Caitlin, who is currently sitting her A-Levels, has raised funds for an Eyegaze system which allows her access to life-changing technology meaning she can call friends and send emails through her eyes.
The UK Garrison, a national Star Wars costuming group, who were represented at the party in the form of Stormtroopers and Darth Vadars, donated £1,500 to the fund, with partygoers raising about £500.
